Wing Canyon Vineyard

October 25, 2013 by Dave 2 Comments

Wing Canyon Vineyard

Wing Canyon Vineyard is owned by Bill Jenkins and Kathy Dennett and is located on the very windy Mt. Veeder Road; the winery is accessible from either Oakville Grade to the north or about a 30-minute drive from downtown Napa to the south. This small and remote winery is located at the bottom of a very steep hillside vineyard. The winery is next door to their … [Read more...]

Paloma Vineyard

Paloma Vineyard is located off of Spring Mountain Road on the edge of the Sonoma and Napa County line ranging from about 2,015 to 2,235 feet feet in elevation, usually above the fog which commonly blankets the lower elevations, especially during the growing season. "Paloma" is a Spanish word meaning dove. On clear days the property features spectacular and … [Read more...]

Paoletti Estates Winery

Paoletti Estates Winery

Paoletti Vineyards is a gorgeous wine estate located off the northern part of Silverado Trail just south of the town of Calistoga. The winery produced its first vintage in 1994 and is owned by Gianni & Lilia Paoletti. Gianni purchased the winery property in 1989. He was born in Venice, Italy and was trained as a chef starting at the age of 16. He worked at … [Read more...]

Paradigm Winery

Paradigm Winery

Paradigm Winery is located on Dwyer Road just south of the Oakville grade in Oakville. Ironically, one of the "best" ways to find this winery used to be a sign in front of Dwyer Road just off of Highway 29 that read, "No Wineries This Road." This sign worked extremely well to discourage the typical visitor driving down Highway 29 to enter this small road. … [Read more...]

Parador Cellars

Parador Cellars

Parador Cellars, not to be confused with the El Parador wines from Spain, is run by Steve Ventrello (who we originally met with at his home); Steve is also the winemaker but it was abundantly clear from some of the musical instruments scattered around his home that he truly enjoys music - for fun he plays the accordion and guitar. And his wife Faith comes … [Read more...]

Parallel Wines

October 25, 2013 by Dave Leave a Comment

Parallel Wines

Parallel Wines is the only Napa winery with a direct association between Park City, Utah and the Napa Valley. In an homage to skiing, Parallel refers to the lines first left after an initial run, down a ski slope - preferably through fresh powder :) The label is creatively designed to reflect these "ski lines". Parallel Wines is owned by three couples (two … [Read more...]

Parry Cellars

October 25, 2013 by Dave Leave a Comment

Parry Cellars

Parry Cellars is not the smallest overall production winery that we have visited in the Napa Valley, but it is certainly one of the smaller ones. Their estate vineyard is only 1/2 acres; it sits slightly above the Silverado Trail in the north part of the valley. It was planted by one of the most respected vineyard management companies in the valley - Abreu … [Read more...]

Patz & Hall Winery

October 25, 2013 by Dave Leave a Comment

Patz & Hall Winery

Patz & Hall Winery was located in the most unique location you will ever see for a winery - in the middle of Napa's main corporate business center! For reference, this business park is located south of the town of Napa. Instead of visiting your mortgage broker or real estate agent like you would in a typical commercial business park, you visit this wineries' … [Read more...]
