Wheeler Farms To Host “Good Company,” Bringing Together Seven Extraordinary Napa Valley Vintners For An Afternoon Of Wine, Food, And Music

August 30, 2026 by Dave Leave a Comment

Accendo, Annulus, Bella Oaks, Impensata, J.H. Wheeler, Kinsman Eades and TOR will share wines made at the historic St. Helena estate

St. Helena, Calif. — Wheeler Farms will welcome guests to “Good Company” on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The relaxed afternoon gathering and walk-around tasting will bring together seven vintners who make their wines at Wheeler Farms, with house pours, local food, live music, and an opportunity to experience the collaborative community of vintners that has taken shape at the historic St. Helena estate.

Participating vintners include:

Accendo: Accendo Estate is a farmer-owned Napa Valley winery sourcing exclusively from estate vineyards owned by the Bettinelli and Bittner families, longtime stewards of some of Napa Valley’s most respected vineyard sites. Rather than drawing from entire vineyards, Accendo selects fruit from specific blocks and vine rows identified for their quality and character. The winery’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc reflect a commitment to site-driven viticulture, careful farming, and long-term stewardship of the land. Rooted in multigenerational vineyard ownership and relationships built over decades, Accendo offers a distinctive expression of Napa Valley shaped by both place and people.

Annulus: Annulus, Latin for “ring,” reflects the circles woven into winemaking: the enduring cycle of seasons, the annual crafting of a new vintage, and the circle of family and friends who gather around tables to share a meal and raise a glass.

After 25 years in the Napa Valley community, Luke Evnin and Deann Wright, together with their daughter, Elena, and Alexandra, created Annulus to celebrate the land, community, and craft that make Napa Valley vibrant and to uphold the independent, passionate spirit of winemaking for generations to come.

Bella Oaks: Bella Oaks combines one of Napa Valley’s most historic vineyards with the dedication to cultural preservation that characterizes arts advocate Suzanne Deal Booth. The land is legendary, with a wine-growing history dating back to the 1800s, and a legacy as one of the Napa Valley’s earliest single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons. Since purchasing the property in 2010, Deal Booth has breathed new life into the estate with a focus on organic and biodynamic farming and the seamless integration of wine, art, community, and culture.

Impensata: Impensata is a family-inspired creation with two estate vineyards: the renowned Engelhard Vineyard in the western hills of Calistoga and the breathtaking Ciminelli Vineyard at the summit of Howell Mountain. The vision for Impensata started the way it continues today—around a table of food, laden with wine and brimming with conversation, with a shared passion for La Dolce Vita, respecting tradition but not tethered to it.”

J.H. Wheeler: Sourcing fruit from a collection of Napa Valley’s most celebrated vineyard sites, J.H. Wheeler produces single-vineyard cabernet sauvignons, including Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard, Beckstoffer Georges III, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper, Franz Hill Vineyard, and Sleeping Lady Vineyard. This approach offers collectors and visitors a unique opportunity to experience the diversity of Napa Valley’s many distinct AVAs.

Kinsman Eades: Kinsman Eades is the maiden wine project of Shae and Nigel Kinsman. Launched in 2019, their early bottlings evoked a clear vision: searching out compelling vineyards and honoring character over perfection. Now crafting eloquent, age-worthy cabernet from a stable of outstanding sites, the Kinsmans’ mindful approach to farming and restrained winemaking charts the course, resulting in insightful expressions of the land that voice the diversity of Napa Valley’s distinct terroir.

TOR: Since the mid-1970s, Tor Kenward has been immersed in Napa Valley, building close personal relationships with growers across the region’s most storied vineyard sites. In 2001, he and his wife Susan launched TOR Wines. The result is a small-production, relationship-driven Napa cult producer, one built on access to “First Growth” caliber vineyards and a minimal-intervention approach to winemaking.

“Good Company reflects what has always made Wheeler Farms special: bringing people together around wine, food and the land,” says Wheeler Farms proprietor Suzanne Deal Booth. “We look forward to opening the farm and winery for an afternoon that celebrates the vintners who make wine here and the community that has grown around them.”

Tickets are $75 per person for members and $150 per person for non-members and are required for entry. To purchase tickets, email events@wheelerfarmswine.com.

ABOUT WHEELER FARMS
Wheeler Farms is a historic St. Helena estate where Napa Valley’s agricultural heritage and modern-day hospitality converge. Originally established by Charles Wheeler in 1880, the property today serves as a working farm, winery and culinary destination under the stewardship of vintner and preservationist Suzanne Deal Booth.

The organically farmed estate includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc vineyards, organic culinary gardens, fruit orchards, beehives and heritage chickens. Its culinary program, led by Chef Tom Harder, draws from the property’s gardens and orchards to create seasonal food and wine experiences rooted in the rhythms of the farm. Wheeler Farms is also the winemaking home of Bella Oaks and a community of family-owned Napa Valley vintners. For more information, visit www.wheelerfarmswine.com.
