Hi, discovered my uncle Ward Eisan was a caretaker of the Snowden winery in the 50s & sixties, I went to the winery with my Dad to visit uncle Ward and also my mom. I am now in my 70s and would like to visit the old winery site. I understand Ward had a 1 acre site dedicated to him for discovery of wine. I would appreciate any information and any possibility to visit this site. Thank you , Victor Millhouse.

I'll be sharing with my buddies your 1985 (yes, 1985) Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon. I just taste tested it and it's remarkable. Absolutely no evidence of maderization. Acid/tannins/alcohol all balanced. Still some fruit present although the "grassiness" is only a shadow its original self. I can send you a photo of the bottle if you give me an email address or number to text.

In way of an introduction my name is Joseph Jude Thaddeus Paul Post, senior.
I’m the youngest member of a 5th generation American winemaking family.
I’m familiar with most all aspects of both the enology & viticulture industry in the USA and somewhat in 4 other wine producing continents…
Among my length list of job descriptions I was a professional salesman and proclaimed Arkansas Wine Ambassador to over 500 commercial wineries in some 38 states.
I have some very special people that I’m currently helping with their aspirations to become the best winemakers in the lower 48 states… please give me a call when you’re time permits.
