Hi Miner family winery fellows!
I am one of the organizers of the very first Assyrian Wine festival in Armenia near Azerbaijan and Iraq (Assyria!)
I am not at all in wine business but just a community organizer in the Assyrian communities. We are holding the very first Assyrian International Convention and the first place will be Armenia near Yerevan where there are few Assyrian villages. The time will be Aug 25th to 30th 2026. We are trying to help out local Assyrian wineries in Iraq, Georgia and Armenia. Since you are probably the most recognized winery carrying a part of Assyrian heritage with your name, I was wondering you can help promote this even by just participating in it. Maybe few bottles of wine which I can purchase myself and take there but wanted to see if you would allow your wines be presented there. We may have a competition or not and you may choose to allow your wine be part of it or not. this is just to make it more interesting. Of course those wineries mostly are in natural winemaking business and would not be exactly same category but just wanted to see what your thoughts are on that.

My name is James Pelletiere. I grew up next door to your aunts Florence and Gloria, I was very well treated by your family Including your uncle Bill and aunt Maryanne and of course your parents Ed and Muggins. You and I played together as young children when you and roughy visited, Your aunt Florence and Gloria called me Butch. Those were great times for me. When Florence would come in town to visit Bill and his family. She always visited me. The kindest people I have every met in my 66 years, Ironically my son who is a retired Captain of the Army is employed by Oracle> I hope this makes iits way to you.

In reply to Abraham Asprec. I have a full bottle but the edges of the label isn’t pristine. Nothing is torn. Is there any value in a full bottle? I know absolutely nothing about wine and my 81 yr old mother 15 year old granddaughter, her mother and myself are ready to be evicted and homeless.

Recall Ritchie Creek cabs from the 77 and 78 vintages sold at a defunct wine shop in Walnut Creek. Going through cellar this AM, stumbled upon an Albert 2011 Pinot bearing Vinyard as Ritchie Creek Vinyard. Will open tonight with friends.

Had my last bottle of the 77 cab in 93 found at a wine shop in Arlington Tx. It was superb.

Just opened at 2000 Pavi Pinot Grigio in February of 2026. Still bright straw in color, beautiful lime and mineral notes. I’ve never had a Pinot Grigio over five years old. I met Robert Lawson in Avalon, New Jersey years ago with Marion Gorelick and Mary Millar and glad I did. The 2000 Pavi was the best white wine I’ve had in many years.
I should have noted it my my book, “Wine for Intellectuals”
