Hello Tom. I am a paternal descendant of Thomas LaTour born 1656 in France and died 31-Jan-1734 in Bavaria. My interest in contacting you is purely genealogical. I am trying to determine if Thomas LaTour was descended from knighthood in France or if he was just a commoner. I do know from Genealogical Research that his son Harmon purchased 80 acres of land in Pennsylvania when his family migrated to America. Do you have anny knowledge of there family tied to nobility?
