We miss Greg. And we miss Cain Cellars - was just up at the end of Langtry a few days ago. Sounds like the county is causing problems in regard to their rebuild. Annoying.

I worked at Cain Cellars when Greg Brown was the national sales manager. Greg had a magnetic personality that captivated those present. So much energy and excitement focused on living life and making wine a part of it. At the time Cain 5 was the new kid on the block and the first NV "Meritage".
Greg and the winemaker, Lester Hardy were professionals that worked tirelessly to craft and educate the next generation of wine aficionados. Kudos!

My wife and I just opened our last bottle of T vine 2003 Zinfandel. Every bottle we have had has been spectacular. Still fruit forward with a smooth mouth feel and a slight spicy finish.
We also read Greg’s words about Yvonne and then read of his passing.
We had met Greg when he was delivering the wine at st Helena’s wine store.
What impressed us was how down to earth he was.
We will miss his talent.
We will savor it in this last bottle of wine.
