David Stephens is the best person to contact regarding Shelter Wine – he and his wife Monica just opened a very nice new wine shop which I recently had the opportunity to visit. I found the wine to be perfectly balanced with fruit, acid and tannin in wonderful harmony. The wine had a deep concentrated flavor with a long finish. I asked the server where I could get this wine. He told me that it was limited, being served at the restaurant and maybe available at ACME Fine Wines in St. Helena. The next day I went to ACME but was told that they were no longer associated with that wine project. I searched high and low around the Valley looking for the wine to no avail. When I returned home to Belford New Jersey I did a Google search and found the wine at Cabrini Wines in New York. The wine was shipped to me with free shipping due to my proximity to the City. I had my first bottle last night with grilled rib eyes. Again the wine was outstanding and after finishing the bottle I went to my computer and ordered more of the Shelter “Headwater”. Keep up the Great Work, you have a customer for life.
