Thanks for sharing this Rich - bummer Joe doesn&#039;t make wine anymore - he&#039;s old school with a great perspective on the valley based on his decades in the industry making wine here. Reading a book by Doug Shafer and came across his name several times.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Merely an FYI observation: for dinner tonight, opened a regular bottling 1997 Cafaro Cab.
With an hour of air, absolutely in a perfect place.....all the requisite elements singing for a twenty year old Napa Cab from a touted vintage. 
Designated 13.4 alcohol, acid and fruit balanced.....sweet tannins. Great testament to a very capable winemaker......major kudos and thanks! A classic at a modest original tariff, nothing remotely overblown. My hanger steak on the grill awaits it&#039;s ideal mate!]]></description>
