Hi Dave,

This is a great article. I wanted to point out that your description "[t]he old winery/cellar building was completely torn down" is not true. Both the original production and hospitality buildings remain. If you look at images 67 and 75, you can see the gable ends of the old building are inset on the new building. Essentially a large metal building was built over the existing production building, a barn within a barn, and the hospitality building was lifted onto a new foundation and remodeled. It is a testament to the Architect and Builder that these old buildings were reused so efficiently and still look so transformed. Keep up the great writing!

Thanks,
Kenneth

Susan - yea, the Summer's Charbono evolved very nicely over the years. Right now the Summer's winery is in a state of major remodel. Not sure if Brasswood will produce a Charbono once they are fully moved in - I will ask Marcus the next time I see him. Check out Peter Heitz's Charbono in the meantime, Shypoke Cellars :)

Hi,

My wife has never liked wine until she tried your 2012 Leannan Suisun Valley Riesling. Now she says it's the only wine she wants to drink. Do you still produce a similar Riesling? If not, do you know where I can get a couple of cases of it? My local store that carried it has run out, (we bought them out) but says they won't be getting anymore.
Thanks and Godspeed,
Ron Carlson

It is neat watching this project continue to take shape - Redolent Mercantile opened not long ago and up next is the art gallery. I drive by every day - every once in a while I stop in to check things out :)

Welcome to the neighborhood - the buzz is all good from the valley so far, I will try to get over and check it all out ASAP. Harvest and whatnot it will probably be in November sometime. Cheers! If you find an hour to spare please do not hesitate to swing by, and let me show you around.
